June is Men's Health Month which is the perfect opportunity to discuss and inform men of prostate cancer. Prostate cancer is the most common solid form cancer in humans. More than 232,090 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in the USA this year, and more than 30,350 will die of the disease. Because early prostate cancer is seldom signaled by any symptoms, detection is extremely difficult without testing. Reminding men to schedule regular and consistent visits with their physician for screening drastically improves men's rate of survival.
