CROSS LAKE, MINN. - At Camp Odayin's Resident Camp, children with heart disease ages 8-17 enjoy the fun of summer camp in a safe, medically-supervised environment during a five day experience.
Camp Odayin is currently has volunteer opportunities available for camp counselors and nurses. Camp counselors and nurses spend five days and four nights with a cabin of 6-8 campers. Volunteers participate in camp activities through coaching, mentoring, and daily interaction with these amazing kids.
Volunteers must be 21 years old and there is no cardiac experience required. Training and round trip transportation to camp in Crosslake, MN from Minneapolis is provided. Interested volunteers are encouraged to apply online.

Join camp staff for their fourth annual camp kick-off, a St. Patrick's Day Bowling Party, on March 17, 2013 at AMF Southtown Lanes in Bloomington. This is an opportunity for any family of a child with heart disease to come and learn more about Camp Odayin programs.
Camp Odayin's Have a Heart Benefit
will be held at the Graves 601 Hotel in Minneapolis on April 20, 2013. The event will feature a special performance by Nicholas David from NBC's The Voice and a special program featuring Camp Odayin campers.
