Relaxtion tips for mom from Karen Neuburger

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. --  Karen Neuburger joins KARE in studio Saturday morning to give some relaxation tips just in time for Mother's Day.

Neuburger says it's important for busy moms on the go to have some special "me time" every once in awhile. Along with "me time" there are many small ways moms can slow down and relax:

  • Drink teas to help you relax and feel calm. Tea's that will help include certain mint teas, green tea, and chamomile.
  • Best way to feel relaxed is by wearing comfortable clothing, like pajama's and comfy socks. Karen suggests wearing your comfiest pair of PJ's and socks while watching your favorite TV show or movie. Check out Karen's own super comfy line of PJ's and socks here!
  • Try keeping fresh flowers around the house to enhance your mood.
  • Aroma candles offer an amazing way to help relax after a long day. Try lavender.
