MINNEAPOLIS - It won't be the brightest or the warmest Twin Cities Marathon on record, but certainly won't be the worst or wettest.
For Saturday activities, expect cloudy skies with temps in the 50s in the morning and 60s by afternoon. Most showers will be north of the Twin Cities with just a few spotty light rain showers. Winds will be southeast at 5-15 mph.
For Sunday, clouds will linger into the early/mid afternoon and during most of the marathon/10-mile race. Expect temperatures in the upper 40s to start with temperatures just in the low 50s by noon. Winds will be from the northwest at 5-12 mph.
There will be an occasional light rain shower Sunday morning, but it will NOT rain continuously during the morning hours. Any rainfall amounts will be under one tenth of an inch.
