ANNANDALE, Minn. - A third suspect has been arrested during the investigation of the death of an Annandale man who was shot to death during a robbery early Saturday.
The 22-year-old man was booked at the Wright County Jail early Wednesday for investigation of second-degree murder, said sheriff's office Capt. Greg Howell.
He is the third person arrested and accused of taking part in the death of Kyle L. Greene, 42. Court complaints filed against the two other suspects indicate that Greene died early Saturday after being shot in his garage on Poplar Avenue North during a robbery.
Tyler James Fisher, 19, of Annandale, is charged with two counts of aiding and abetting second-degree murder, aiding and abetting first-degree aggravated robbery and aiding an offender as an accomplice after the fact. Samara Leigh Juhl, 19, of Otsego, was charged Tuesday with aiding and abetting first-degree aggravated robbery and aiding an offender as an accomplice after the fact.
They both made their first court appearances on the charges Tuesday.
The charges don't accuse Fisher of shooting Greene, but indicate that Fisher told investigators that three other people went into Greene's residence to rob him of drugs, money or both, and that one of them shot Greene with a shotgun.
Fisher told investigators that he was the getaway driver of the vehicle used during the robbery, according to the court complaints. Juhl is accused of sending text messages to Greene to set up the drug deal that led to the shooting, according to court records.
Investigators continue to ask for the public's help finding the other two suspects. Anyone with information about the death is asked to call the Annandale Police Department or the Wright County Sheriff's Office at 763-682-1162.
