ST. PAUL, Minn. - The first ever 'We Day' will be held in Minnesota Tuesday, celebrating young people who have inspired, volunteered, and made an impact in the world.
Thousands will attend the daylong event at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, featuring a lineup of speakers including Grammy-nominated artists like The Jonas Brothers and Carly Rae Jepsen, along with award-winning actress and activist, Mia Farrow.
One of those speakers will be Molly Burke, who was diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa at the age of four. The retinal disease causes a loss of vision.
Molly now brings her unique perspective to audiences across the country. She visited KARE 11 Sunrise to talk more about the event and her message.
