ST. PAUL, Minn. - Residents of a St. Paul community are being given a heads-up about a new neighbor they might want to keep an eye on.

Sia Vang is a level 3 sex offender who is moving onto the 1200 block of Bush Avenue after his release from the Minnesota prison system. Authorities want residents to know that Vang has a history of sexual contact with young females, mainly young teens.

St. Paul Police are emphasizing that Vang will be on what they call Intensive Supervised Release, but they still want residents to know he will be living in the area.

Vang is described as an Asian male, 5 feet 5 inches tall, approximately 137 pounds with a slight build.

A notification meeting is set for Wednesday, October 9 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the St. Paul Police Department's Eastern District Community Room, 722 Payne Avenue.
