MINNETONKA, Minn. - Construction is nearing completion on a facility that will offer support for anyone affected by cancer at no charge.
The Gilda's Club Twin Cities is set to open either late this year, or in early 2014.
The Gilda's Club is named after comedian Gilda Radner, who passed away from cancer in 1989. The first Gilda's Club opened in New York City in 1995 and has since spread to 50 locations across the country.
KARE 11's Bryan Piatt has an update on construction and more on the services that will be provided.
If you'd like to donate money to Gilda's Club or get a tour of the facility, you can learn more at the organization's website.
