GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - With Halloween behind us, that means it's time to fast-forward to Christmas and holiday giving.
You can help local senior citizens who might otherwise be overlooked this holiday season.
Vitaly Salo, with Home Instead Senior Care, visited KARE 11 Sunrise to talk about getting involved in the "Be a Santa to a Senior" program.
Home Instead Senior Care has teamed up with area retailers and non-profit agencies to sponsor "Be a Santa to a Senior" to collect, wrap and deliver gifts to lonely and needy seniors in the Twin Cities area.
Donations will be accepted in several locations from Nov. 4 to Dec. 13.
