GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Are you worried about your finances? You have plenty of company if you are.
According to a recent Gallup poll, most folks over 40 are worried about not having enough money for retirement or a medical emergency.
Those under 40 are worried about paying for children's college costs.
If you need help sorting it out, this Saturday is the fourth annual Twin Cities Financial Planning Day.
And best of all ... It's free.
Joining KARE 11 News @4 is Nate Wenner who says the fourth annual Twin Cities Financial Planning Day is a valuable opportunity for Minnesotans who need advice about a wide range of topics, including budgeting, getting out of debt, taxes, mortgages, paying for college, estate planning and insurance.
In addition to one-on-one meetings with financial planners, the event will feature a series of workshops about personal finance topics.
People wishing to attend can register by visiting here.
Walk-ins are also welcome.
Financial Planning Day is organized by the Financial Planning Association of Minnesota, which is dedicated to increasing financial literacy in the community.
