GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn.--  Relieving the pain and suffering of a child is crucial for the child and the entire family. Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota's "No Needless Pain" initiative is a multi-disciplinary, multi-model approach to pain management that is practiced in every unit of the hospital.  Pain management helps patients heal faster, maintain better long-term health and avoid the debilitating effects of long-term pain.

This morning, Dr. Stefan J. Friedrichsdorf, the Medical Director of Pain Medicine, Palliative Care and Integrative Medicine at Children's along with Linda Haluptzok, President of Children's Hospital Association, joined us in studio to tell us more.

Guests attending the CHA's Storyland Gala on October 26th will have a special opportunity to advance the life-altering work of the "Avoiding Needless Pain for Children at Children's" by supporting this Fund-A-Need.
