MAPLEWOOD, Minn. - The Minnetonka girls' hockey team continued its undefeated season thanks to a heroic effort in overtime last weekend.
The Skippers were facing a tough road test against a good Hill-Murray team and found themselves trailing late in the game. After sending the game into overtime, senior captain Sydney Baldwin stepped up for the Skippers. The defenseman scored the game-winning goal to keep Minnetonka's perfect season alive. Baldwin, who has led Minnetonka to the top ranking in the state, is headed to the University of Minnesota to play hockey next season.
