GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn --Nice Ride Minnesota is Minnesota's first bike sharing program and one of the largest in the nation. The program is committed to building a sustainable transportation option that provides an active, healthy, environmentally-friendly way to get around town.
With its recent expansion in Minneapolis and now into St. Paul, Nice Ride Minnesota has nearly doubled in size since launching in June, 2010. Serving residents and visitors of the Twin Cities, Nice Ride Minnesota allows subscribers access to more than 1,000 green bikes at more than 100 station kiosks during the Nice Ride season, April - November.
With commitment from title sponsor Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota and Bike Walk Twin Cities, a program of Transit for Livable Communities, Nice Ride Minnesota will continue to strengthen the bike share network locally, while encouraging others to adopt bike sharing nationally and internationally.
