As a way to cope with the death of a family member, The Ericksons were born. Sisters Bethany and Jenny turned to music to heal after Bethany's husband passed away. They started recording in 2008 and the result has been three albums of mesmerizing harmonies and lyrics rooted in pain, acceptance and love.

The duo's most recent album, "The Wild," offers earthy songs with influences of roots, blues and indie rock weaved throughout each track.

Tune into KARE 11 on Monday, May 20 during the 10 p.m. newscast to hear some songs off The Ericksons' latest album. Then tune into KARE 11 Saturday on May 25 at 8 a.m. to watch them perform live in-studio.
