GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - The Kitchen Pantry scientist always has something fun and interesting put her sleeve for KARE 11 Sunrise.

This time, we delved into the world of DNA.

But not your regular human DNA, the DNA of a strawberry.

Liz Heinecke, and her helpers, showed us how to use detergent, coffee filters, rubbing alcohol and salt, to extract the DNA of a strawberry.
