ST. PAUL, Minn--Join the Greg Marzolf Jr. Foundation for a night at the derby at their annual Cause to Cook for a Cure Gala and support the foundation's efforts to find a cure for muscular dystrophy.
The Greg Marzolf Jr. Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity founded in 2002 to honor the memory of Greg Marzolf Jr. The foundation's mission is to raise awareness of muscular dystrophy through philanthropic activities and to support research for a cure for muscular dystrophy. Since its inception ten years ago, the Greg Marzolf Jr. Foundation has raised more than $1,000,000 for clinical services and research. All money raised by the Greg Marzolf Jr. Foundation is donated to the University of Minnesota's Paul and Sheila Wellstone MD Center to support researchers working to find a cure.
The fifth annual Cause to Cook for a Cure Gala will be on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 5:30pm. The event will be held at the University of St. Thomas in the Anderson Student Center. Attendees can expect great food, live music, games of chance, raffles, silent auction and more. Register online and come wearing your favorite derby hat!
