MINNEAPOLIS - The Hennepin County four-week Step To It Challenge begins May 1. Join thousands of people of all ages and abilities from 22 Hennepin County communities and compete by counting your walking steps or converting other physical activity into steps.
Online registration is now open for the four-week physical activity challenge. Work-sites, families and other community groups are all invited to participate.
Participating Hennepin County Communities include:
Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Champlin, Crystal, Excelsior, Golden Valley, Hopkins, Independence, Little Earth of United Tribes, Maple Grove, Maple Plain, Minnetonka, Minnetonka Beach, New Hope, Orono, Osseo, Plymouth, Richfield, Robbinsdale, Rogers, St. Louis Park and Shorewood
Those that register the most participants by May 1, 2013 can win a school presentation from a Minnesota Twins Player and TC Bear.
