MINNEAPOLIS - The Brain Injury Association of Minnesota has created a curriculum on sports concussions for youth and high school sports organizations.
The training program is appropriate for teammates, parents, coaches, trainers, teachers and nurses. During the session, participants will learn how to prevent sports concussions, as well as how to identify signs and symptoms if a sports concussion occurs and how a concussion can affect the athlete on their return to school.
Training is available to schools and organizations involved in sporting activities.
Additional information about the sport concussion training program and how to schedule a session is available on the Brain Injury Association of Minnesota website.
