GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. -- As many as 3.8 million sports-related concussions occur in the U.S. every year. About 50,000 of those injuries happen right here in Minnesota.
Now, there's a new campaign aimed at raising awareness about those injuries. It's called the "Keep My Brain in the Game" pledge.
Lori Peterson with the Brain Injury Association of Minnesota joined us on KARE 11 Sunrise with more on how the pledge works, and who should get involved.
