MINNEAPOLIS - The Macy's flower show has been welcoming winter worn Minnesotans into a room blooming with spring for 50 years in downtown Minneapolis.
This year's Macy's Flower Show is called the Painted Garden it will feature 10 gardens reflecting the culture and beauty of Asia. For nearly 50 years, Bachman's has been a partner of the Macy Flower Show.
Construction begins in January and requires 3,000 hours of labor to complete with the support of more than 40 locally based electrictians, florists, landscapers artists, carpenters, and visual specialists.
The show is on the 8th floor of the downtown Minneapolis Macy's. It runs from Sunday March 24 through Sunday April 7 and is free.
