CHANHASSEN, Minn. - The apple harvest is in full swing. This weekend looks to be one of the biggest for visits to local orchards across the state.
The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum is the place where all of these apples had their start. The breeding program there is 105 years old and has developed 26 amazing varieties over the years that are hardy and fabulous. David Bedford has worked there for 32 years and has seen many of these fabulous apples get developed.
This weekend you can try a number of the "unnamed" favorites in the visitors center. You can also go to the Apple House down the road one mile and buy any of these fabulous Minnesota apples.

In this week's Grow with KARE we get a report on what David thinks of this years crop. Check it out.
