MINNEAPOLIS -- Minneapolis Edison looked for its first win of 2010 as it traveled to Minneapolis South Friday afternoon in a Minneapolis City Conference clash.
Already up 22-0, South's Lamar Sullivan scored on a short touchdown run to give the Tigers a 28-0 lead.
Alvin Belfrey picked off an Edison pass late in the second quarter and returned it for a touchdown. South was in complete control and cruised to a 44-6 win.
