BROOKLYN CENTER, Minn. - The person suspected of shooting and killing a man inside his home nearly two months ago has been taken into custody.
Brooklyn Center police announced on Tuesday they had arrested a suspect in the murder of 41-year-old Bret Struck.
Struck, 41, was found shot to death in his home on the 5400 block of Girard Avenue North in Brooklyn Center on February 12. The murder was discovered by a co-worker who had gone to check on Struck's welfare when he didn't show up for work.
Charges are expected to be filed against the suspect by Noon on Wednesday. Authorities are expected to discuss the case during a news conference at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
