MINNEAPOLIS -- Dress Down for Leukemia & Lymphoma is fun and easy to get involved in the fight against blood cancer. Get your company to join the fun and the fight on Thursday, May 5.

For a $5 minimum donation, participants buy an official Dress Down sticker and earn the right to dress casually or in a company theme for a day at work.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Minnesota Chapter was founded in 1982 to serve residents who have been touched by one of the blood cancers: leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. The chapter serves the states of Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services. LLS's mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Since it was founded in 1949, LLS has invested more than $750 million in research specifically targeting blood cancers.
