MINNEAPOLIS - One of rock and rolls enduring hit-makers is making a stop in the Twin Cities this summer.
Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers will headline a show at Target Center on Saturday, June 29th.
Petty and his band The Heartbreakers are in rarified air when it comes to rock and roll, scoring hits in five different decades with songs like "American Girl," "Refugee," "The Waiting," "I Won't Back Down," "Free Fallin'," "Mary Jane's Last Dance," and "You Don't Know How It Feels."
The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame during their first year of eligibility in 2002.
Despite selling millions of records Petty has often said the Heartbreakers are first a live band.
