Thursday Night Mountain Bike Races at Buck Hill in Burnsville. Whether you're a first-time racer or local hero, these weeknight races are the best bang for your entertainment buck.
Here's the skinny:
2012 Buck Hill Race Schedule
Series 1: June 14
Series 2; June 21, 28, (No race July 5), July 12, 19, 26 and August 2.
$5 gets you into the beginner class (approximately 20-minute race), while just $10 gets you into the Recreational (40 minute race) or Advanced (1-hour) class.
Loads of door prizes each night means you will practically make money by just entering.
A free kids' race - held after the adult's race - makes this the perfect family fun night.
Registration: 5 p.m. - 6:15 p.m.
Race Start: 6:30 pm (Advanced and Rec.); 7:15 start for Beginner
Food and drink is available all night.
