GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. -- The 14th annual Nature Valley Bicycle Festival is underway.

Jean Freidl, festival spokesperson, gave us an overview of the Nature Valley Bicycle Festival and what spectators can expect at the free event. In addition to watching 300 of the top pro cyclists in the world compete on city streets, fans can enjoy bike expos, stunt riders, free kids races, live entertainment, food and drink.

Jesse Anthony, the defending men's champion in the Nature Valley Grand Prix, also joined us on KARE11 News @ 4 to talk about how the race is going so far and how he is preparing to defend his title.

The festival continues with the Nature Valley Grand Prix Pro Stage Bike Race this weekend, with the Uptown Minneapolis Criterium Friday evening, the Menomonie Road Race Saturday afternoon and the Stillwater Criterium Sunday beginning at 11:30 a.m.
