MAPLEWOOD, Minn. - For the first time since the ice out on Keller Lake, authorities returned to search by boat for the body of Kira Steger Trevino, according to a St. Paul Pioneer Press report.
Ramsey County authorities searched the lake, but official said they didn't find anything.
Cadaver dogs showed interest in areas of the ice-covered lake and volunteer searchers found near the lake a pillow with blood matching Trevino's DNA.
Trevino, 30, of St. Paul, was last seen publicly Feb. 21. Her body has not been found, but her husband, Jeffery Trevino, 39, was charged Feb. 28 with two counts of second-degree murder in his wife's death. A judge entered a not-guilty plea for him.
