EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. - The Eden Prairie softball team held a moment of silence for Eden Prairie grad Mandy Matula before their game this afternoon.
Matula was reported missing by her parents on Thursday morning.
In tribute to Matula, the team wrote "M-14" on their cheeks, shoes and helmets. Fourteen was the number Matula wore when she played softball for Eden Prairie.
Coach Dan Rubischko says Matula came back to the school after graduating from the University of Minnesota-Duluth to help younger players.
"Mandy was an all star softball player for Eden Prairie, but more importantly she was a great human being. She gave back to the city of Eden Prairie in many ways," Rubischko said.
Members of Mandy's college softball team took part in the weekend's search. The team bus came to Eden Prairie on its way to Duluth from a tournament in Rochester.
