Commuter and school buses collide in NJ

OLD BRIDGE, N.J.- A commuter bus heading to New York City and a mini school bus crashed in in New Jersey, and at least seven people are hospitalized.

The Old Bridge school district says no students were on the bus.

TV footage shows the Academy Bus slammed into a tree and a tree limb is protruding through the roof.

The school bus is on its side.

Academy Bus spokesman Joe Orlando says the bus driving along Route 9 from Toms River to Wall Street in New York City.

Orlando says he doesn't know how many passengers were aboard.

Six people are reported in stable condition at Raritan Bay Medical Center, and a trauma patient is at another hospital.
