"Divots can by replaced - Our freedom cannot."

What started as a single golf tournament fundraiser in 2005 has grown into something larger than JB Ball could've imagined. JB started Tee It Up For The Troops to honor his son stationed in Iraq and to help veterans and their families.

Today, just three years later, JB's golf event has grown into a nationally recognized program with over 130 courses participating. Tournaments take place across the country throughout the summer to benefit Tee It Up For The Troops, but JB has also created a "National Day of Golf" in September. Numerous golf courses across the country host events on the Friday closest to September 11th and donate the proceeds to JB's organization. In 2007, Tee It Up For The Troops raised over $500,000 to help wounded veterans and their families.

JB is a busy guy, involved in every aspect of the organization from sponsorship to logistics. He also spends a lot of time researching organizations that can Tee It Up can support. Then, in his spare time, JB also volunteers with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, runs a business and is an active father and husband. JB truly does it all!
