TOWER, Minn. - Fortune Bay Resort Casino in northern Minnesota is holding its last call for bingo.
The casino will hold its last bingo session Wednesday night.
Fortune Bay opened 26 years ago solely as a bingo hall. Bingo was the only game offered until slots and blackjack were introduced in 1991.
But Fortune Bay officials say bingo attendance at the casino has dwindled, due to increased competition from churches and senior citizens groups.
The Mesabi Daily News reports the four employees who work in bingo will be reassigned to other departments after the last session is held.
