Byerly's drink recipes for Mother's Day

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. --  Jason Newell, manager of Byerly's Wine & Spirits, shares some special drink recipes for mom this Sunday.

Spa Collins:

  • 2 oz. Square One Cucumber Vodka
  • 6 English cucumber slices
  • Juice of half lemon
  • 2 oz of Spa Nectar (recipe below)
  • Club soda
  • Lemon Twist for garnish


In a tall glass layer cucumber slices and ice. Pour vodka, lemon juice, and Spa Nectar into an ice filled cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously until extremely chilled. Strain into prepared Collins glass. Top with club soda and lemon twist.


Spa Nectar:

  • 2 whole English cucumbers peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1¼ cup organic Agave nectar
  • 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger


Place all ingredients in a jar and stir to combine. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
