GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Gillette razor-maker Proctor and Gamble reported last week razors sales are falling in developing countries. Meantime, Energizer reported a 10% drop in razor sales in the past year.
An international market research firm, Euromonitor, says hipsters have helped create a "growing acceptance of the unshaven look in the workplace."
Energizer blames the sales slump on aggressive promotions on the part of P&G.
