FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. - Have you or someone you love ever had a concussion? It can be a very serious injury.
The Minnesota Physical Therapy Association (MNPTA) is offering concussion recovery screenings this year in the Health Fair 11 building.
Through the screenings, people will learn about the rehab exercises that will help them recover from a head injury.
MNPTA is a membership based volunteer organization which promotes the profession of physical therapy.
Physical therapy provides services to individuals and populations to develop, maintain and restore maximum movement and functional ability throughout the lifespan. This includes providing services in circumstances where movement and function are threatened by pain, aging, injury, disease or environmental factors. Functional movement is central to what it means to be healthy.
