ST. PAUL, Minn. - A Grammy-winning Minnesota duo has a special performance on tap at the state Capitol.
The Minneapolis-based Okee Dokee Brothers were expected Tuesday for a quick show in the governor's office. Youngsters from early childhood education programs were chosen to be in the select audience. Gov. Mark Dayton will be on hand as well.
The bluegrass duo of Joe Mailander and Justin Lansing won the music honor this year for Best Children's Album for their "Can You Canoe?" disc. The childhood friends based the album on a month-long canoe trip they took down the Mississippi River.
