COON RAPIDS, Minn. - A touching tribute was held at a high school football field Friday night for a Lino Lakes officer who died serving his community eight years ago.
Officer Shawn Silvera was killed on 35-W when a suspect hit him during a high speed chase.
On Friday night his wife and kids went back to Coon Rapids High School, where Silvera graduated, to carry on his legacy.
