MINNEAPOLIS - No ballots will be cast for president, senate or congress, but voters across Minnesota will descend on the polls Tuesday, deciding local races and issues that will directly impact their communities.
In Minneapolis voters will elect a new mayor, city council and park and recreation board.
In St. Paul, there's an election for mayor, school board and city council. Traffic at the St. Paul Area Council of Churches at 1671 Summit Avenue is described as steady but not brisk.
School referendums are also taking place in many communities across greater Minnesota.
