This is one JD Power and Associates survey that Northwest Airlines probably won't want to cite.
Northwest ranked last in customer satisfaction among big airlines in a survey released by JD Power.
Northwest got low marks in categories such as flight crews and in-flight amenities.
JD Power based its survey on responses from more than 96-hundred passengers who flew on a large North American airline between April 2006 and April 2007.
Airline expert Terry Trippler says the survey was conducted during a "very tumultuous time" for Northwest flight attendants. Trippler says flight attendants were "less than friendly" after Northwest imposed work terms on them last July after they rejected a second concessionary contract.
Northwest has since emerged from bankruptcy. In response to the survey, Northwest says it has "a renewed commitment to improving the customer travel experience."
