What initially appeared to be a traffic fatality is now a murder case in Isanti County.

A Princeton man is accused of killing his wife, whose body was found after the two were involved in an apparent car accident in March.

Forty-year-old Steve Hollerman later told authorities that before the accident, he had pushed his wife, Deborah, into the door of a vehicle during an argument and did not call for help -- even though she was injured. Court documents reveal a coroner ruled the death was caused by "blunt force head injuries."

Hollerman has been charged with second-degree unintentional murder. He's free on $200,000 bail after appearing in court.

Forty-one-year-old Deborah Hollerman was found dead with head injuries March 22nd after the Hollermans' car went off Highway 95 in Isanti County and hit a parked vehicle.
