Police are looking for a Brooklyn Center man as a "person of interest" in the death of his 41-year-old wife. Police arrived at the Brooklyn Center home around noon Tuesday and were met at the door by two of the women's sons, who led them to the body. Authorities believe she died of blunt force trauma. Her name has not been released. Officers searched for Xiong by helicopter on Tuesday but could not find him. Ger Xiong was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt and grey shorts. Police say all of the vehicles registered to Xiong have been found. The victim's mother says the man had recently threatened to kill his wife. Relatives say the couple had seven children. Anyone with information is asked to call Brooklyn Center Police Department at (763) 569-3333. We will have more information as it becomes available here on kare11.com, and on KARE 11 News.
