Twin Cities businessman Denny Hecker was released from the hospital Friday. The car dealer was hospitalized after a car wreck in Plymouth.
Authorities say Hecker veered off County Road 6 in Plymouth, hit a utility pole and knocked out power to a neighborhood.
It happened around 8 p.m. Wednesday night.
Police confirmed there was no indication alcohol was involved, but can't say if speeding was a factor at this time. The did say while the road is pretty straight, there is a slight curve.
Two weeks ago, 56-year-old Hecker closed six dealerships and laid off nearly 400 workers. He's also suing Chrysler Financing, claiming they unfairly shut off his credit, forcing him to make the cuts.
