EAGAN, Minn. -- A school bus driver with the Eagan School District was arrested Monday for allegedly driving drunk.
Police responded to a report of a school bus that crashed into a parked vehicle near Curry Trail and Daniel Drive in Eagan around 2:30 Monday afternoon.
While talking to the 61-year-old driver, officers detected the smell of alcohol on his breath. The driver failed a field sobriety test and was taken into custody for DWI.
At the time of the crash, seven students from Eagan High School were on the bus, none were injured. The students were picked up from the scene by anther bus and taken home.
Charges are pending against the school bus driver.
