EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- He hasn't decided if he will return to their locker room for a second season, but one thing is crystal clear: Brett Favre likes his Vikings teammates a lot.
Why else would he leave a brand spanking new pair of jeans hanging in each of their lockers?
Vikings players who showed up for optional workouts at Winter Park Monday found a pair of Wrangler jeans, a present from the All-Pro quarterback.
Jasper Brinkley told reporters he hasn't tried his jeans on yet, but says it's a great gift.
"That's a great thing a teammate would do... you know, think about everybody enough to get them a pair of jeans," Brinkley said after practice Wednesday.
Favre is a spokesperson for Wrangler, and has appeared in several national TV spots. No word on if he actually had to pay for the jeans he gave his teammates. He also appears to have a preoccupation with pants, as he serenaded his teammates with an impromptu version of the 'Pants on the ground' song after the Vikings dismantled Dallas in the 2010 playoffs.
