WAYZATA, Minn. -- After more than a year on the market, an infamous home on Lake Minnetonka has found a buyer.
The Wayzata mansion that once belonged to convicted businessman Tom Petters recently sold for $5 million. The 9,400 square foot, seven bedroom home originally listed for $8.2 million.
The proceeds will be used to pay back the victims of Petters' ponzi scheme.
The home was on the market for 400 days before it sold.
