OAK GROVE TOWNSHIP, Wis. -- Deputies say a Twin Cities woman was killed after a car hit the motorcycle on which she was riding Saturday.

Michael Vodinelich, a deputy sheriff with the Pierce County Sheriff's Department, says the call came in at 11:23 a.m. Saturday about a crash at the intersection of State Highway 23 and County Highway E.

Investigators say 48-year-old William G. Sobania and 50-year-old Lori Sobania, both of Oakdale, Minn., were driving north on Highway 35.  That's when 31-year-old Amy J. Raymo from River Falls, Wis., pulled out into oncoming traffic, hitting the motorcycle.

Vodinelich says the Sobanias were thrown from the motorcycle.  William was airlifted to Regions Hospital with unknown injuries.  An ambulance took Lori to Regions Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 2 p.m. Saturday.

Investigators say Raymo and her passenger, 55-year-old Sandra Raymo, both went to the River Falls Area Hospital with undetermined injuries.
