ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Minnesota musician Mark Mallman has done it. He performed one song for 78 hours straight. He started on Thursday afternoon looking alert and excited. By Saturday night he had sprained his foot which had to be looked at by a doctor. Still, the show went on.
During his last hour on Sunday evening, it was clear his mental state had deteriorated. There were moments where he was laying on his keyboard, then standing on a stool, eating a sandwich and even biting into a bouquet and spitting it on the crowd.
When it was all said and done, his dad surprised him with a medal. He was helped off stage and into bed. Monday morning he tweeted quote "so happy, but I kind a miss marathoning already."
