ISANTI COUNTY, Minn. -- A 24-year-old man from Andover died Thursday after a two-vehicle crash in Isanti County, authorities say.
The Isanti County Sheriff's Office responded to an accident at about 5:40 p.m. Thursday at Hwys. 65 and 107. The man was identified as Joshua Breen of Andover.
Authorities say one car went through a stop sign and was broadsided by another car. Police say Breen was driving the car that went through the stop sign and was hit. There was one passenger in his car, and the car that hit him was carrying four people, none of whom were seriously injured.
Two people suffered minor injuries in the incident.
From midnight to 10 a.m. Friday, there were 82 crashes, including nine with injuries and no fatal crashes in the metro area. State-wide, there were 116 crashes, including 12 injury accidents, overnight.
