MINNEAPOLIS -- Rock Camp For Dads is a rock 'n' roll music camp where adult musicians can connect with other musicians, tap into their rocker self, and experience what it's like to be in a real working band.

Minnesota's award winning musician and former professional roadie for the stars, Mike Michel, started the camp in June of last year drawing on his 20-plus years of experience in the music business. Rock Camp For Dad's motto "We Cure Stage Fright" has proven to be effective. RCFD's participants have traveled from all four corners of the Twin Cities metro area as well as parts of Wisconsin.

Rock Camp For Dads has blossomed from a part time weekend workshop in south Minneapolis to a full blown music club for emerging and reemerging Twin City adult rockers. Participants meet and rehearse for four weeks at the RCFD studio and at the end of the month participants play real rock 'n' roll shows at some of the best rock clubs in the Twin Cities. After their experience, RCFD alumni have the option to participate in future camps, organized jams, workshops, and other performance opportunities.
