MINNEAPOLIS - The State Patrol says they have located the car that hit and killed a man Tuesday night.
Thursday afternoon, Lt. Eric Roeske of the Minnesota State Patrol, tweeted "We are still working to identify the driver, anyone with knowledge of the incident is encouraged to contact us."
Roeske told KARE 11 the vehicle was found Wednesday night after receiving information on the car's whereabouts, but would not say where the car was found.
The vehicle in question is a 2009 Mercedes Benz ML350, light gold in color, according to another of Roeske's tweets.
The accident happened on the westbound ramp from Interstate 94 to the Riverside Avenue just after 11 p.m.
The State Patrol says Anousone Phanthavong, 38, of Roseville was filling up his car with gas on the shoulder of the ramp when he was struck.
No one is in custody and the case is still under investigation.
